In the midst of late October’s warm glow, I had the pleasure of working with Emily & Sam for a fall engagement session. Our adventure unfolded against the stunning backdrop of Scioto Mile Park before moving on for Park of Roses engagement photos. After meeting them for the first time, it became obvious that something special was about to happen.
We kicked off our journey at Scioto Mile Park surrounded by trees dressed in amber and crimson. Emily & Sam’s outfits were strikingly perfect for the scenery, and the cooler weather. Better than the scenery are Emily & Sam together. Their joy in each other was evident, creating an atmosphere filled with personality and laughter. Not only do they make each other laugh, but they kept me endlessly entertained.

The Park of Roses came next, filled not with flowers, but with warm light. By this time, the sun was setting, breathing warm life into a wall of distant trees. Their Park of Roses engagement photos come alive with cooler greens & blues mixed with warm, golden hour light.

These engagement photos simply went beyond my expectations. The peak fall color and weather were perfect. More importantly, Emily & Sam are just great together. The way they engage with each other is open, honest, and immediately evident. I could not be more thankful to call them friends.
