German Village Engagement Photos Rich with Fall Color
Vibrancy
“The striking brightness of color,” or at least that is what google says. I would argue vibrancy is the saturation of color, not brightness. Nonetheless, each fall brings with it a staggering array of color. Some seasons have stronger colors than others. I have learned the richness of color is tied to rainfall, thanks to my biologist wife. As fall arrives, so does the demand for photo sessions. October for photographer’s is like April for accountants. It can be quite insane. Thankfully, Jill & Kevin decided to visit me in Columbus for their German Village engagement photos. We even managed to squeeze in a visit to Inniswood Garden.
Color Explosion
This year, the fall color has been better than any year I can remember. It is a true banner year. It seems as though all the color decided to arrive at once, and the trees are holding the leaves. We left German Village and made the quick drive over to Inniswood. Once there, the color only intensified. Rich reds, rusty oranges, cadmium yellows, and burgandy filled the landscape. Some of my favorite photos of the season came from this visit to the garden.
It’s the Greens
Even with color all around, I still managed to find my famous greens. While not obvious here, my work is filled with subtle yet substantial green. A green that leans just a little blue. This green has become my substitute for my favorite color: a somewhat darkish marine blue. If you are looking for German Village engagement photos, or a killer green, then let’s connect.
