Strongwater Wedding Photos Filled with Modern Warehouse Style
Neighborhood Vibe
We took care of Kelly & Sean’s detailed planning a couple months prior their Strongwater wedding. We discussed their amazing family, talked about the ceremony, getting ready, and bridal bouquets. A big part of planning their Strongwater wedding photos was deciding on locations.
“I think I would just like to stay in Franklinton. I really love the neighborhood,” Kelly said. This was in response to me offering places nearby where we could take photos. Franklinton is a very old neighborhood in Columbus. It was a manufacturing area, and had been on a long decline. Recently, it has turned a corner. Thanks to places like Strongwater and Land Grant, Franklinton is on the rise.
So the plan was to stay at Strongwater all day, and then take bridal party photos in Franklinton and at Strongwater. The wedding photos became a mix of modern warehouse chic and neighborhood rustic vibe.
White-on-White Reception
I entered the main room at Strongwater for the first time during the wedding reception. I was immediately blown away. Kelly was standing next to me. “Do you like it,” she asked. I absolutely loved it. The white-on-white design was amazing. The tables were lined with hundreds of candles in glass hurricanes, with little touches of flowers everywhere. I have never seen a wedding reception like this before.
A moment to observe
After discussing the wedding reception design at some length with Kelly, the Bride & Groom toured the room to have a detailed look. While the guests enjoyed cocktails, we stayed in that room for a good 10 minutes looking at all the details. The skylight above cast the most amazing light upon the candlelit room, with the Bride & Groom stopping occasionally to observe and be present.
End of Night
Following an evening of heavy dancing, we ended the night in the Strongwater courtyard, which earlier hosted the wedding ceremony. I lined up an “end of night” shot for Kelly & Sean, which is seen here. The day was a complete success, and one filled with many surprising details. We even avoided rain despite it being early April.
Below are some additional highlights from their Strongwater wedding photos. If you are planning a Strongwater wedding, or plan for hundreds of candles, then let’s connect.
