Recently I found myself in Los Angeles on my way to a photography workshop in Malibu. With a little time to kill, I wanted to make sure to visit the Griffith Observatory, which had been on my list for a while. As I stood atop the observatory, looking out over LA, I couldn’t help but notice a car parked just below. I love the results of this one, simply frame.
I’ll have much, much more coming from this trip. Also coming soon will be more personal work from an upcoming vacation. Enjoy!

This is fantastic. That old Camaro was one of my very favorite little parts of my life while living in Los Angeles. I'd regularly hike with my dog up there, and passing that car meant we were halfway up the canyon and a fourth of the way through our walk. Funny you should have seen it parked where it was, and an incredibly rare opportunity you were given to get this shot - in a year, I never saw that Camaro parked there. It was typically in the parking lot near the entrance, in one of two or three different spaces. (I always thought it must belong to an observatory employee.) Thanks for bringing back a very specific and happy memory from my life.
