Romantic Farm Wedding Photos at the Height of Summer

Idyllic Romance

We had talked frequently before the wedding day. Sometimes it was a phone call from San Francisco. Other times it was a Skype video call from São Paulo. Savana happens to be Brazilian. Through these calls, I thought I had a good sense of their personalities. I certainly had a good sense of their planned farm wedding. The wedding would be held on an idyllic estate northeast of Columbus. The estate belonged to Max’s family, whom were thrilled to host the wedding.

Arriving the day of the wedding, I quickly realized that I didn’t have a good sense of Savana & Max. More percisely, I had seen only glimpses of their full personalities. She was kind and graceful on the phone. In reality, she is also funny, spunky, and full of energy. Max, the more stoic of the pair, is warm and welcoming in person. He also has an understated wit. Together they love openly and show it. They welcome their friends close and particpate in their lives. This warm romance can be seen through out their farm wedding photos.

the Deep Future

The outdoor wedding ceremony was filled with friends. One friend played music on the guitar while another friend conducted the proceedings. Friends stood for readings and family sat close on fabric-draped hay bales. The Bride & Groom are not only looking forward to a life together. They are looking to the deep future. They planted a tree following the wedding ceremony. It is an oak tree, planted in the middle of the field, destined to live for hundreds of years.

Love Aloud

The evening continued with guests gathered for the tented wedding reception. Brothers, sisters, friends, and family read toasts aloud, speaking of love and connection. Candles kept the tent alight with a dim glow, drawing people closer. And so ended one of the most romantic weddings I have witnessed, all held on a farm in the middle of a pandemic. If you are planning a farm wedding, then let’s connect.
